  मच्चिकतो नितरान्तरम्मुल मायललो पडबोकन्नाहॆच्चुग नूटयॆनिमिदि तिरुपतुलॆलमि तिरुगपनिलेदन्नामुच्चटगा ता पुण्यनदुललो मुनुगुट पनियेमिटिकन्नावच्चॆडि परुवपु दिनमुललो सुडिपडुटलु मानकयु ॥ 1 ॥ तारक मन्त्रमु ॥

  machchikatō nitarāntarammula māyalalō paḍabōkannāhechchuga nūṭayenimidi tirupatulelami tirugapanilēdannāmuchchaṭagā tā puṇyanadulalō munuguṭa paniyēmiṭikannāvachcheḍi paruvapu dinamulalō suḍipaḍuṭalu mānakayu ॥ 1 ॥ tāraka mantramu ॥

  meaning

  May I not fall into attachment's net to continue in this world with all its tricks; by the grace of the one who is honoured by the eighty-eight crore sacred places and holy rivers, I do not need to labour circling endlessly; the saving one has come.

  ऎन्निजन्ममुलनुण्डि चूचिननु एकोनारायणुडन्नअन्नि रूपुलै युन्न नापरात्परु नामहात्मुनि कथ विन्नाऎन्नि जन्ममुलजेसिन पापमुली जन्ममुतो विडुनन्नाअन्निटिकिदि कडसारि जन्ममु सत्यम्बिक पुट्टुट सुन्ना ॥ 2 ॥ तारक मन्त्रमु ॥

  meaning

  From however many past lives I have suffered, the One Narayana who takes all forms — having heard the story of that supreme Soul who is beyond all other souls, all the sins of however many births will be released with this birth.

  निर्मल मन्तर्लक्ष्यभावमुन नित्यानन्दमुतोनुन्नकर्मम्बुलुविडि मोक्षपद्धतिनि कन्नुल ने जूचुचुनुन्नधर्ममु तप्पक भद्राद्रीशुनि तन मदिलो नम्मुकयुन्नमर्ममु दॆलिसिन रामदासुनि हृन्मन्दिरमुनने युन्न ॥ 3 ॥ तारक मन्त्रमु ॥

  With a pure mind fixed on the inner supreme target, abiding in eternal bliss, having left behind all karma, seeing with one's eyes the path of liberation — having faithfully trusted Bhadrachala's Lord in one's own heart.
