    subrahmaṇya karāvalambaṃ puṇyaṃ paṭhanti dvijōttamāḥ sarvē mukti māyānti subrahmaṇya prasādataḥsubrahmaṇya karāvalambamidaṃ prātarutthāya yaḥ paṭhētkōṭijanmakṛtaṃ pāpaṃ tat​kṣaṇādēva naśyati

    Whichever twice-born ones recite this holy Subrahmanya Karavalambam attain liberation by Subrahmanya's grace; whoever recites it on rising at dawn — the sins of crores of births are destroyed at once. (phalashruti)
