Anga-nyasa (body consecration): Aim — to the heart, salutation. Hrim — to the head, svaha. Shrim — to the topknot (shikha), vashat. Shrim — to the armor (kavacha), hum. Hrim — to the three eyes, vaushat. Aim — to the weapon (astra), phat. And 'Bhur-bhuvas-suvar-om' — sealing of the directions (dig-bandha).

Dhyana (visualization): I worship Sri Vidya — who dwells at the top of the complete Meru mountain in the bindu-trikona (point-triangle); the mother of all beings from Vagisha and all else; on a throne in the form of Shiva. I worship Kamakshi, an ocean of the essence of compassion, seated in the lap of Kamesvara, the beautiful one, the consciousness-born, who dwells in the Kama-koti, the great wisdom.

Pancha-puja (five-element worship): Having performed the five-element worship beginning with 'Lam' — Lam: to Sri Lalita Devi embodying the element of Earth, I offer fragrance. Ham: to Sri Lalita Devi embodying the element of Space, I offer flowers. Yam: to Sri Lalita Devi embodying the element of Wind, I offer incense. Ram: to Sri Lalita Devi embodying the element of Fire, I offer a lamp. Vam: to Sri Lalita Devi embodying the element of Nectar (Water), I offer the nectar-offering (naivedya).
