Salutation to Sri Lalitamba. Devi (Parvati) said: 'O God of gods, Mahadeva of being-consciousness-bliss form — the heart-stotra of the Sundari (Lalita) is a great wonder, O lord.'

Excellent, excellent — by you, O wise one, who do good to the worlds; though it is secret I shall tell it; listen with attentive mind.

Equipped with eight petals and sixteen petals, with three rings, ornamented with three earthen square enclosures.

I bow to the great canopy and the great curtain; meditating on the puja-house thus, in the Sri Chakra I worship Sri Shiva (the consort of Shiva).

I place flowers, unbroken rice and the rest on my right side; I show countless lamps to you, O great goddess.

I worship your Tripura Chakra with the root mantra; I worship you with your three famous khandas, O Mahesvari.

Joined with wind, fire and water, by pranayamas I dry up, burn and flood, O Shiva.

I do pranayama three times with the root mantra; the heretics on earth and in the atmosphere

By this mantra I clap my hands three times, O Shiva. 'I am Narayana, I am Brahma, I am Bhairava, I am Shiva.'

'I am the god, I am the supreme bliss, O Tripurasundari.' Meditating on the diamond-armor, I do nyasa.

I do the kumari-bija nyasa, O great Tripurasundari; saying 'protect me, protect me' I do anjali-mudra in my heart.

I do the asana saying 'this is the seat of the great goddess' — I salute the chakra-seat, the all-mantra-seat, O Shiva.

Joined with the sadhya-siddha-asana with these mantras, O Mahesvari, I do the highest deity-seat with the chakra-mantras.

I then do the six-fold limb (shadanga) and the matrika and digit nyasa; Srikantha, Keshava, the prapancha and the yoga-matrika.

I do the tattva-nyasa; the four-pitha as enjoined; the lesser shodha; then the great shakti-nyasa.

I then do the chakra-nyasa, the dual kamakala-nyasa; with the sixteen-syllabled great mantra I do the limb-nyasa.

Then I do the great-shodha and the shambhava-nyasa, O great-beloved; then having uttered the root mantra, I do the paduka-nyasa.

Worshipping the guru well, I worship the deity in my heart; I draw a mandala — circle and square, O dear-of-Shiva.

Worshipping the support with flowers, I worship the conch with the six limbs, and fill it with water.

I place the first bindu, consecrated with the root mantra; with that water, O world-mother, I draw the triangle joined with circle.

I bow to the six-cornered, square mandala; I worship here with the vidya, with the threefold khanda.

With the bija I worship the six-cornered figure within the circle, O dear; I take refuge in the gem-mandala of the digit-soul of the goddess there.

I bow to Dhumrarchis, to Ushma and Jvalini, and to Jvalini also; I salute Visphulingini.

I bow to Sushri and Surupa and Kapila; I salute Havyavaha the eternal; I worship the digit Kavyavaha.

(I worship there) the sun-and-fire mandalas joined with the twelve-souled digits; I worship Tapini and Tapini for arghya and padya.

I salute Dhumra and Marichi; I worship Jvalini and Maruh; I salute Sushumna the granter of joy; I worship Vishva and Bodhini.

On the left, O Mistress, having drawn a circle and a square, I worship the great goddess with sandal, unbroken rice and the rest.

I worship your lotus-foot, O Devi Tripurasundari; for your pleasure, since I worship the Kanchi Shakti.

For your pleasure, O great goddess, for the accomplishment of my desired ends, having bound you with the Khechari mudra, forgive me as I dismiss (the deity).

Stay always in my heart-chakra, O great Tripurasundari; this is the heart-stotra of Tripurasundari, granter of all desires.
- verse 192महारहस्यं सततं दुर्ल्लभं दैवतैरपि ।साक्षात्सदाशिवेनोक्तं गुह्यात् गुह्यमनुत्तमम् ॥ 190॥mahārahasyaṃ satataṃ durllabhaṃ daivatairapi ।sākṣātsadāśivēnōktaṃ guhyāt guhyamanuttamam ॥ 190॥meaning
It is a great secret, hard to attain even by gods; declared by Sadashiva himself, secret of secrets, unsurpassed.

Phalashruti: Whoever recites it daily with faith, or hears it with concentration, gains the daily worship-fruit of the Devi — there is no doubt.

He is freed at once from sins arising from body, speech and mind, even those done in past births knowingly or unknowingly.

Whatever merit accrues from all the sacrifices and from all the tirthas — that merit a man gains daily, no doubt.
- verse 196अचलां लभते लक्ष्मीं त्रैलोक्येनाति दुर्लभाम् ।साक्षाद्विष्णुर्महालक्ष्याशीघ्रमेव भविष्यति ॥ 194॥achalāṃ labhatē lakṣmīṃ trailōkyēnāti durlabhām ।sākṣādviṣṇurmahālakṣyāśīghramēva bhaviṣyati ॥ 194॥meaning
He gains imperishable Lakshmi, hard to find in the three worlds; very soon Vishnu and Mahalakshmi themselves shall favor him.
