those lotus-eyed ones busy with their household duties, occupied with their children, and devoted to attending their husbands — all abandoning everything, enchanted by the flute's call, went toward the wilderness.

Some who had heard the flute's note while putting on their ornaments, their adornment only half-done, came to you — to those thus fully adorned you were even more beautiful.
- verse 5हारं नितम्बभुवि काचन धारयन्तीकाञ्चीं च कण्ठभुवि देव समागता त्वाम् ।हारित्वमात्मजघनस्य मुकुन्द तुभ्यंव्यक्तं बभाष इव मुग्धमुखी विशेषात् ॥5॥hāraṃ nitambabhuvi kāchana dhārayantīkāñchīṃ cha kaṇṭhabhuvi dēva samāgatā tvām ।hāritvamātmajaghanasya mukunda tubhyaṃvyaktaṃ babhāṣa iva mugdhamukhī viśēṣāt ॥5॥meaning
One who was wearing a garland at her hip and came wearing the girdle around her neck, O God — 'the beauty of my own hips is your captive, O Mukunda!'

Another, her bodice only loosely adjusted out of bewilderment, unseen by the other women, came to you bearing an immense burden of unmatched love.

Some who could not manage to step out of the house, imagining you very firmly in their hearts, abandoning the body, merged into the one supreme bliss-consciousness which you are —
- verse 8जारात्मना न परमात्मतया स्मरन्त्योनार्यो गताः परमहंसगतिं क्षणेन ।तं त्वां प्रकाशपरमात्मतनुं कथञ्चि-च्चित्ते वहन्नमृतमश्रममश्नुवीय ॥8॥jārātmanā na paramātmatayā smarantyōnāryō gatāḥ paramahaṃsagatiṃ kṣaṇēna ।taṃ tvāṃ prakāśaparamātmatanuṃ kathañchi-chchittē vahannamṛtamaśramamaśnuvīya ॥8॥meaning
Women who remembered you with the attitude of a lover, not as the Supreme Self, in an instant attained the state of the highest swans; how with some difficulty
- verse 9अभ्यागताभिरभितो व्रजसुन्दरीभि-र्मुग्धस्मितार्द्रवदनः करुणावलोकी ।निस्सीमकान्तिजलधिस्त्वमवेक्ष्यमाणोविश्वैकहृद्य हर मे पवनेश रोगान् ॥9॥abhyāgatābhirabhitō vrajasundarībhi-rmugdhasmitārdravadanaḥ karuṇāvalōkī ।nissīmakāntijaladhistvamavēkṣyamāṇōviśvaikahṛdya hara mē pavanēśa rōgān ॥9॥meaning
You, the boundless ocean of beauty, surrounded on all sides by the beautiful women of Vraja coming to you, with a melting face of gentle smiling and compassionate glance — seen as the sole witness of the universe.
