- verse 1निरुपमनित्यनिरंशकेऽप्यखण्डे –मयि चिति सर्वविकल्पनादिशून्ये ।घटयति जगदीशजीवभेदं –त्वघटितघटनापटीयसी माया ॥ 1 ॥nirupamanityaniraṃśakē'pyakhaṇḍē –mayi chiti sarvavikalpanādiśūnyē ।ghaṭayati jagadīśajīvabhēdaṃ –tvaghaṭitaghaṭanāpaṭīyasī māyā ॥ 1 ॥meaning
Though I am peerless, eternal, partless, undivided pure consciousness free of all conceptual variation, Maya — adept at making the impossible — fashions in me the difference of God and individual soul.

Alas, even those who have sifted hundreds of shrutis and Vedanta texts she at once defiles by the sight of wealth, making them no different from beasts — Maya, adept at making the impossible.

Yoking the blissful undivided non-dual awareness to a body made of ether, fire and the rest, she whirls one ceaselessly in the ocean of becoming — Maya, adept at making the impossible.
- verse 4अपगतगुणवर्णजातिभेदे –सुखचिति विप्रविडाद्यहङ्कृतिं च ।स्फुटयति सुतदारगेहमोहं –त्वघटितघटनापटीयसी माया ॥ 4 ॥apagataguṇavarṇajātibhēdē –sukhachiti vipraviḍādyahaṅkṛtiṃ cha ।sphuṭayati sutadāragēhamōhaṃ –tvaghaṭitaghaṭanāpaṭīyasī māyā ॥ 4 ॥meaning
In blissful consciousness which is free of attribute, colour, caste and division, she bursts forth the ego of brahmin and shudra and the delusion of son, wife and home — Maya, adept at making the impossible.
- verse 5विधिहरिहरविभेदमप्यखण्डे –बत विरचय्य बुधानपि प्रकामम् ।भ्रमयति हरिहरभेदभावा-नघटितघटनापटीयसी माया ॥ 5 ॥vidhihariharavibhēdamapyakhaṇḍē –bata virachayya budhānapi prakāmam ।bhramayati hariharabhēdabhāvā-naghaṭitaghaṭanāpaṭīyasī māyā ॥ 5 ॥meaning
Even in the undivided One she fabricates the distinction of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, and infatuates even the wise with the notion of Hari and Hara as separate — Maya, adept at making the impossible.
