- verse 1मनसा सततं स्मरणीयम्वचसा सततं वदनीयम्लोकहितं मम करणीयम् ॥ लोकहितम् ॥manasā satataṃ smaraṇīyamvachasā satataṃ vadanīyamlōkahitaṃ mama karaṇīyam ॥ lōkahitam ॥meaning
Always to be remembered in the mind, always to be spoken with speech — the welfare of the world is what I must do.

Not to be enjoyed in a pleasure-palace, not to lie down on a comfortable bed — to remain wakeful day and night; the welfare of the world is what I must do.

In the dense forest, in the heavy darkness, wherever dear ones stand hidden in the caves — there I must travel; the welfare of the world is what I must do.
