    उद्यन्नद्यविवस्वानारोहन्नुत्तरां दिवं देवः ।हृद्रोगं मम सूर्यो हरिमाणं चाऽऽशु नाशयतु ॥ 1 ॥
    udyannadyavivasvānārōhannuttarāṃ divaṃ dēvaḥ ।hṛdrōgaṃ mama sūryō harimāṇaṃ chā''śu nāśayatu ॥ 1 ॥
    meaning

    May the rising sun ascending the upper heaven, the divine Surya, swiftly destroy this heart-disease and pallor of mine.

    निमिषार्धेनैकेन द्वे च शते द्वे सहस्रे द्वे ।क्रममाण योजनानां नमोऽस्तु ते नलिननाथाय ॥ 2 ॥
    nimiṣārdhēnaikēna dvē cha śatē dvē sahasrē dvē ।kramamāṇa yōjanānāṃ namō'stu tē naḻinanāthāya ॥ 2 ॥
    meaning

    In half a wink (you cross) two hundred, two thousand and two yojanas — salutation to you, lord of the lotus.

    कर्मज्ञानखदशकं मनश्च जीव इति विश्वसर्गाय ।द्वादशधा यो विचरति स द्वादशमूर्तिरस्तु मोदाय ॥ 3 ॥
    karmajñānakhadaśakaṃ manaścha jīva iti viśvasargāya ।dvādaśadhā yō vicharati sa dvādaśamūrtirastu mōdāya ॥ 3 ॥
    meaning

    He who as the eleven sense and action organs and mind and the soul moves in twelvefold form for the creation of the universe — may that twelve-formed one be for our joy.

    त्वं हि यजूऋक्सामः त्वमागमस्त्वं वषट्कारः ।त्वं विश्वं त्वं हंसः त्वं भानो परमहंसश्च ॥ 4 ॥
    tvaṃ hi yajūṛksāmaḥ tvamāgamastvaṃ vaṣaṭkāraḥ ।tvaṃ viśvaṃ tvaṃ haṃsaḥ tvaṃ bhānō paramahaṃsaścha ॥ 4 ॥
    meaning

    You alone are Yajus, Rik, Saman; you are scripture; you are the vashatkara; you are the universe; you are the swan; O Sun, you are the supreme Hamsa.

    शिवरूपात् ज्ञानमहं त्वत्तो मुक्तिं जनार्दनाकारात् ।शिखिरूपादैश्वर्यं त्वत्तश्चारोग्यमिच्छामि ॥ 5 ॥
    śivarūpāt jñānamahaṃ tvattō muktiṃ janārdanākārāt ।śikhirūpādaiśvaryaṃ tvattaśchārōgyamichChāmi ॥ 5 ॥
    meaning

    From your Shiva-form I seek knowledge; from your Janardana-form I seek liberation; from your peacock-form I seek lordship; from you I seek health.

    त्वचि दोषा दृशि दोषाः हृदि दोषा येऽखिलेन्द्रियजदोषाः ।तान् पूषा हतदोषः किञ्चिद्रोषाग्निना दहतु ॥ 6 ॥
    tvachi dōṣā dṛśi dōṣāḥ hṛdi dōṣā yē'khilēndriyajadōṣāḥ ।tān pūṣā hatadōṣaḥ kiñchidrōṣāgninā dahatu ॥ 6 ॥
    meaning

    Skin-faults, eye-faults, heart-faults, and all the faults of the senses — may the fault-destroying Pushan burn them somewhat with his slight fire of wrath.

    धर्मार्थकाममोक्षप्रतिरोधानुग्रतापवेगकरान् ।बन्दीकृतेन्द्रियगणान् गदान् विखण्डयतु चण्डांशुः ॥ 7 ॥
    dharmārthakāmamōkṣapratirōdhānugratāpavēgakarān ।bandīkṛtēndriyagaṇān gadān vikhaṇḍayatu chaṇḍāṃśuḥ ॥ 7 ॥
    meaning

    May the fierce-rayed one shatter the diseases that obstruct dharma, artha, kama and moksha, that fiercely afflict and bind the host of senses.

    येन विनेदं तिमिरं जगदेत्य ग्रसति चरमचरमखिलम् ।धृतबोधं तं नलिनीभर्तारं हर्तारमापदामीडे ॥ 8 ॥
    yēna vinēdaṃ timiraṃ jagadētya grasati charamacharamakhilam ।dhṛtabōdhaṃ taṃ naḻinībhartāraṃ hartāramāpadāmīḍē ॥ 8 ॥
    meaning

    I praise the lord of the lotus, the remover of misfortunes, the bearer of awakening, without whom this darkness would devour the entire moving and unmoving world.

    यस्य सहस्राभीशोरभीशु लेशो हिमांशुबिम्बगतः ।भासयति नक्तमखिलं भेदयतु विपद्गणानरुणः ॥ 9 ॥
    yasya sahasrābhīśōrabhīśu lēśō himāṃśubimbagataḥ ।bhāsayati naktamakhilaṃ bhēdayatu vipadgaṇānaruṇaḥ ॥ 9 ॥
    meaning

    May the Aruna (sun), a fragment of whose thousand rays goes into the moon's orb and lights up all the night, shatter the host of misfortunes.

    तिमिरमिव नेत्रतिमिरं पटलमिवाऽशेषरोगपटलं नः ।काशमिवाधिनिकायं कालपिता रोगयुक्ततां हरतात् ॥ 10 ॥
    timiramiva nētratimiraṃ paṭalamivā'śēṣarōgapaṭalaṃ naḥ ।kāśamivādhinikāyaṃ kālapitā rōgayuktatāṃ haratāt ॥ 10 ॥
    meaning

    Like darkness destroying eye-darkness, like a screen destroying our entire mass of disease, like a kasha-grass screen against mental affliction — may the father of time take away our diseased state.

    वाताश्मरीगदार्शस्त्वग्दोषमहोदरप्रमेहांश्च ।ग्रहणीभगन्धराख्या महतीस्त्वं मे रुजो हंसि ॥ 11 ॥
    vātāśmarīgadārśastvagdōṣamahōdarapramēhāṃścha ।grahaṇībhagandharākhyā mahatīstvaṃ mē rujō haṃsi ॥ 11 ॥
    meaning

    You destroy my great diseases — windy ailments, stones, piles, skin disease, dropsy, urinary disease, dysentery and fistula.

    त्वं माता त्वं शरणं त्वं धाता त्वं धनं त्वमाचार्यः ।त्वं त्राता त्वं हर्ता विपदामर्क प्रसीद मम भानो ॥ 12 ॥
    tvaṃ mātā tvaṃ śaraṇaṃ tvaṃ dhātā tvaṃ dhanaṃ tvamāchāryaḥ ।tvaṃ trātā tvaṃ hartā vipadāmarka prasīda mama bhānō ॥ 12 ॥
    meaning

    You are mother, refuge, sustainer, wealth, teacher; you are protector and remover of misfortunes — be gracious to me, O Sun.

    इत्यार्याद्वादशकं साम्बस्य पुरो नभःस्थलात्पतितम् ।पठतां भाग्यसमृद्धिः समस्तरोगक्षयश्च स्यात् ॥ 13 ॥
    ityāryādvādaśakaṃ sāmbasya purō nabhaḥsthalātpatitam ।paṭhatāṃ bhāgyasamṛddhiḥ samastarōgakṣayaścha syāt ॥ 13 ॥
    meaning

    Phalashruti: This twelvefold arya verse-hymn fell from the sky before Samba — for those who recite it, prosperity of fortune and the destruction of all diseases shall be.
