Meditation: I contemplate Padmavati — mounted on the serpent-king whose hood-jewels form a shining row, her creeper-like body radiant, her eyes softly gleaming, holding in her hands garland, pot, skull and lotus, with the crescent moon as her crest, clad in garments, seated upon the body of Bhairava the lord of all.

Hearing these words of the Goddess, the messenger, filled with indignation, went back and reported them in detail to the demon-king.
