One unable to recite the whole should recite half, earning thereby the merit of giving a cow in charity.

Whoever recites the Gita but does not also read its Mahatmya — his recitation is fruitless, said to be mere labor.

Whoever practices the Gita study combined with this Mahatmya obtains its full fruit and reaches the rare and difficult goal.
