- verse 1भवानि स्तोतुं त्वां प्रभवति चतुर्भिर्न वदनैःप्रजानामीशानस्त्रिपुरमथनः पञ्चभिरपि ।न षड्भिः सेनानीर्दशशतमुखैरप्यहिपतिःतदान्येषां केषां कथय कथमस्मिन्नवसरः ॥ 1॥bhavāni stōtuṃ tvāṃ prabhavati chaturbhirna vadanaiḥprajānāmīśānastripuramathanaḥ pañchabhirapi ।na ṣaḍbhiḥ sēnānīrdaśaśatamukhairapyahipatiḥtadānyēṣāṃ kēṣāṃ kathaya kathamasminnavasaraḥ ॥ 1॥meaning
I meditate on the graceful goddess at the apex of the mountain of consciousness — the nectar-ocean waving with the waves of bliss of union with Shiva.

The flood of bliss of devotion to the lotus feet of the great Goddess is the refuge of the world; it extinguishes the scorching fire of samsara.

The supreme light, the form of pure bliss, the knowledge beyond speech — I take refuge in that primordial Shakti.

The self-born mind-born beauty, the lotus-born one, she who is the bliss of non-duality — I bow to that form of the Goddess.

The Goddess who is the embodiment of all auspiciousness, who gives liberation and devotion — to her I bow in reverence.

She who is the divine mother, who purifies the three worlds with the stream of grace from her lotus feet — I seek her shelter.

She who is the form of the great Maya, who creates, sustains, and destroys the universe — I bow to that supreme Shakti.

The Goddess whose glance of compassion removes all suffering, who grants the highest wisdom — I take refuge in her.

She who is the eternal consort of Shiva, the form of supreme bliss, the mother of all creation — I meditate on her.

The Goddess who grants all desires, who is worshipped by all the gods, who resides in every heart — I bow to her.
- verse 11महान्तं विश्वासं तव चरणपङ्केरुहयुगेनिधायान्यन्नैवाश्रितमिह मया दैवतमुमे ।तथापि त्वच्चेतो यदि मयि न जायेत सदयंनिरालम्बो लम्बोदरजननि कं यामि शरणम् ॥ 11॥mahāntaṃ viśvāsaṃ tava charaṇapaṅkēruhayugēnidhāyānyannaivāśritamiha mayā daivatamumē ।tathāpi tvachchētō yadi mayi na jāyēta sadayaṃnirālambō lambōdarajanani kaṃ yāmi śaraṇam ॥ 11॥meaning
She who is the source of all speech, all knowledge, all beauty — the mother of all and the refuge of all — I surrender to her.
- verse 12अयः स्पर्शे लग्नं सपदि लभते हेमपदवींयथा रथ्यापाथः शुचि भवति गङ्गौघमिलितम् ।तथा तत्तत्पापैरतिमलिनमन्तर्मम यदित्वयि प्रेम्णासक्तं कथमिव न जायेत विमलम् ॥ 12॥ayaḥ sparśē lagnaṃ sapadi labhatē hēmapadavīṃyathā rathyāpāthaḥ śuchi bhavati gaṅgaughamilitam ।tathā tattatpāpairatimalinamantarmama yaditvayi prēmṇāsaktaṃ kathamiva na jāyēta vimalam ॥ 12॥meaning
The supremely beautiful one, adorned with the crescent moon, surrounded by yoginis, seated on the lion — I meditate on the Goddess.
- verse 13त्वदन्यस्मादिच्छाविषयफललाभे न नियमःत्वमर्थानामिच्छाधिकमपि समर्था वितरणे ।इति प्राहुः प्राञ्चः कमलभवनाद्यास्त्वयि मनःत्वदासक्तं नक्तं दिवमुचितमीशानि कुरु तत् ॥ 13॥tvadanyasmādichChāviṣayaphalalābhē na niyamaḥtvamarthānāmichChādhikamapi samarthā vitaraṇē ।iti prāhuḥ prāñchaḥ kamalabhavanādyāstvayi manaḥtvadāsaktaṃ naktaṃ divamuchitamīśāni kuru tat ॥ 13॥meaning
She who grants liberation to devotees who call on her with a pure heart, who destroys the ego-knot — I take refuge in the Goddess.
- verse 14स्फुरन्नानारत्नस्फटिकमयभित्तिप्रतिफलत्त्वदाकारं चञ्चच्छशधरकलासौधशिखरम् ।मुकुन्दब्रह्मेन्द्रप्रभृतिपरिवारं विजयतेतवागारं रम्यं त्रिभुवनमहाराजगृहिणि ॥ 14॥sphurannānāratnasphaṭikamayabhittipratiphalattvadākāraṃ chañchachChaśadharakalāsaudhaśikharam ।mukundabrahmēndraprabhṛtiparivāraṃ vijayatētavāgāraṃ ramyaṃ tribhuvanamahārājagṛhiṇi ॥ 14॥meaning
The Goddess who is the power behind all mantras, the life of all beings, the essence of all the Vedas — I bow to her.
- verse 15निवासः कैलासे विधिशतमखाद्याः स्तुतिकराःकुटुम्बं त्रैलोक्यं कृतकरपुटः सिद्धिनिकरः ।महेशः प्राणेशस्तदवनिधराधीशतनयेन ते सौभाग्यस्य क्वचिदपि मनागस्ति तुलना ॥ 15॥nivāsaḥ kailāsē vidhiśatamakhādyāḥ stutikarāḥkuṭumbaṃ trailōkyaṃ kṛtakarapuṭaḥ siddhinikaraḥ ।mahēśaḥ prāṇēśastadavanidharādhīśatanayēna tē saubhāgyasya kvachidapi manāgasti tulanā ॥ 15॥meaning
She who is the ocean of mercy, the form of delight, the giver of the highest happiness — may the Goddess be gracious.
- verse 16वृषो वृद्धो यानं विषमशनमाशा निवसनंश्मशानं क्रीडाभूर्भुजगनिवहो भूषणविधिःसमग्रा सामग्री जगति विदितैव स्मररिपोःयदेतस्यैश्वर्यं तव जननि सौभाग्यमहिमा ॥ 16॥vṛṣō vṛddhō yānaṃ viṣamaśanamāśā nivasanaṃśmaśānaṃ krīḍābhūrbhujaganivahō bhūṣaṇavidhiḥsamagrā sāmagrī jagati viditaiva smararipōḥyadētasyaiśvaryaṃ tava janani saubhāgyamahimā ॥ 16॥meaning
The all-pervading light of consciousness, the primordial energy, the supreme Shakti — I meditate on her.
- verse 17अशेषब्रह्माण्डप्रलयविधिनैसर्गिकमतिःश्मशानेष्वासीनः कृतभसितलेपः पशुपतिः ।दधौ कण्ठे हालाहलमखिलभूगोलकृपयाभवत्याः सङ्गत्याः फलमिति च कल्याणि कलये ॥ 17॥aśēṣabrahmāṇḍapralayavidhinaisargikamatiḥśmaśānēṣvāsīnaḥ kṛtabhasitalēpaḥ paśupatiḥ ।dadhau kaṇṭhē hālāhalamakhilabhūgōlakṛpayābhavatyāḥ saṅgatyāḥ phalamiti cha kalyāṇi kalayē ॥ 17॥meaning
She who is the remover of all sin, the granter of all good, the highest goal of all spiritual paths — I bow to her.
- verse 18त्वदीयं सौन्दर्यं निरतिशयमालोक्य परयाभियैवासीद्गङ्गा जलमयतनुः शैलतनये ।तदेतस्यास्तस्माद्वदनकमलं वीक्ष्य कृपयाप्रतिष्ठामातन्वन्निजशिरसिवासेन गिरिशः ॥ 18॥tvadīyaṃ saundaryaṃ niratiśayamālōkya parayābhiyaivāsīdgaṅgā jalamayatanuḥ śailatanayē ।tadētasyāstasmādvadanakamalaṃ vīkṣya kṛpayāpratiṣṭhāmātanvannijaśirasivāsēna giriśaḥ ॥ 18॥meaning
The Goddess who is the form of the three — Brahma's creative power, Vishnu's sustaining power, Rudra's dissolving power — I worship her.
- verse 19विशालश्रीखण्डद्रवमृगमदाकीर्णघुसृणप्रसूनव्यामिश्रं भगवति तवाभ्यङ्गसलिलम् ।समादाय स्रष्टा चलितपदपांसून्निजकरैःसमाधत्ते सृष्टिं विबुधपुरपङ्केरुहदृशाम् ॥ 19॥viśālaśrīkhaṇḍadravamṛgamadākīrṇaghusṛṇaprasūnavyāmiśraṃ bhagavati tavābhyaṅgasalilam ।samādāya sraṣṭā chalitapadapāṃsūnnijakaraiḥsamādhattē sṛṣṭiṃ vibudhapurapaṅkēruhadṛśām ॥ 19॥meaning
She who, when worshipped even once with a pure heart, grants the fruit of all austerities — may that Goddess protect us.
